There is no way for me to write everything Rita has done for me in a review. Rita saved my life and showed me the way to a better one. I have seen a number of psychiatrists/psychologists in my life and I have never connected to or benefited from my time with them the way I have from seeing Rita. I have been working with Rita for the past several months learning The Anderson Method for lifelong weight control. I have been on diets all my life and while I have had some results with losing, I was never able to keep it off. With the techniques Rita has introduced me to, I have been successful in losing weight easily (yes, I said easily!) without being on a 'diet'. For the first time in my life I feel confident I will never have to face this challenge again. In addition to losing the weight, I have benefitted from Rita's extensive background in behavioral therapy and have brought about many positive changes in other areas of my life. A terrific Counselor

Rita has helped me really see lots of things and at last I feel as if I've gotten rid of old demons of sadness and depression. Rita uses as many techniques as she thinks will work; she's very thoughtful. Great!

Life Changing Technique

With some skepticism I saw Rita for anxiety. After 2 sessions I now have a distance or buffer between myself and my anxiety. I know that it was there and I could go into it if I choose, yet the NEED to do so has been squelched. Another pathway has started in my brain and I have other choices now on how to respond to situations. This is another important puzzle piece in living a better quality of life.

As an administrator working in the mental health field, my past experience and training as a therapist had put me in contact with clients who suffered from anxiety but, I never experienced anxiety myself until 4 months ago. Trying to go the natural route I tried Homeopathic Medicine, Tai Chi, 4 miles per day walking, and Acupuncture but nothing seemed to work. After 4 months of suffering, in desperation I sought out counseling with Rita because I heard great things about her. In one treatment, my anxiety was gone. I wish I would have had her knowledge, training, and skillset when working with my past clients. Rita is an excellent clinician.
